Satay Sauce with Extra Chilli

When we were growing up, our family bbqs were famous for our Indonesian grandmother’s satay. Peanut sauce was smothered in abundance on what seemed like an endless supply of chicken and lamb skewers. Using her recipe from West Java, here’s our delicious Satay Sauce for you to feast on everyday - now with extra chilli!

Heat it gently and smother it over your bbq'd meats and veggies. Or toss it through a stir-fry or use it straight out of the jar as a dip, this thick, fragrant and peanut-packed satay sauce is what Eighteen Thousand Islands is all about!

This sauce is gluten free, vegan and locally made.
